My name is Eric Heidel, PhD, PStat, and I am an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine (UTGSM) as well as an Accredited Professional Statistician. I have taught the PICOT (Population, Intervention, Comparator, Outcome, and Time) framework for creating research questions to thousands of medical professionals over the past 14 years (see About page). I created the PICOT Research Question Generator to help researchers create valid research questions using the PICOT framework.
